    Best gut-load

I agree. Cricket crack and carrots(for water) is the best thing I have used. My spare crickets have grown well from 1/8" to 1" on this.

White film on top of soil?

If you also have little black gnats, it's definitely mold.

    To cup feed or not

I recently picked up this suggestion for simulated free rage and it has worked great for my chams. Screen is attached to the back of the cut water bottle and the chams hunt them when they climb up but they do not roam the cage.

    Divided Cage?

Two cages would probably be your best bet. Chameleons need a visual barrier and do not like to see each other all the time. By dividing the cage you will just be cutting their space in half, which they will probably need or like for themselves. Either way, you would need to find a way to hide...

    Mist King

I love my mist king. I would buy the timer from Marty and you can get a bucket for the water at HD- the big orange homer bucket. I couldn't find a timer at HD that was less than 10 mins and I only wanted 5.

    orphaned puppies

At least they had a bit of sense to leave them where someone might be able to take care of them. Most of the time with reptiles, people just let them go in parks or abandoned lots and think they can take care of themselves. I know two people now that have found bearded dragons in their...

    Bake your soil!

I get the annoying black gnats with the organic soil from Home Depot. Not as serious, but I think baking the soil is a good idea. At what temp to you bake soil?

    Very bad news!!!

I have a swamp running and I'm still worried about my eggs. It had a hard time keeping the temp below 80 in this heat, I had to add fans.

    Very sad case of MBD..

It's hard to believe they even live to get like that when people are obviously taking such bad care of them.
