I would get the higher wattage bulb pretty soon. They sleep more and are more lethargic when their body heat isn't as high. It's weird that he is gaping his mouth open because usually that means they are too hot and trying to cool down. So I'm not sure about that. Pictures would help though!
I have a pothos vine that has flourish! It has adjusted fine to the misting and lamps. I did re plant it in Eco earth coconut fiber which may be holding more moisture around the roots.
That is a very good point and poisoning of some sort by cleaner, bug spray, air freshener or some aresol my very well be the culprit. It makes me very nervous of what my panther could have been exposed to accidentally. I will definitely keep this in mind always. Thanks
We live in separate house so no my panther is doing fine. She does use lots of air freshener and candles. I will mention it to her one day when the subject is not so sore
Thanks. I'm okay with it. If anyone can learn from it or give us some closure as to why or how this could happen then it could benefit us all and maybe save another before it's too late.
Today my sister lost her sweet, 2yr old veiled Vlad. After stopping breathing every so often and continuing to have seizures for the past 24hrs, he lost his short battle. He isn't suffering anymore at least. We will all miss you very much. Rip buddy.
