From the pictures you have provided I want to say it’s a female I’m 80% female but the first pictures from that angle looks like a male but from these I’d say it’s a female roughly around 2 months old.

Usually before the light go out they turn a little pale atleast mine do before going to bed also my guess is That’s a sign of them getting ready to go to bed soon , that angle is a little ruff because it makes the take base look thicker

If you could get a better shot of the tail base it would be much better to identify if it’s a male or female.

Trying doing the opposite , put him in her cage and see if that changes anything if not trying putting them in a neutral location.
