I'm also new at owning a cham. I have had mine for 2 1/2 weeks now. hm you said you dust your crickets twice a week? I dust mine everyday, am i doing this wrong?
yeah thats what i thought. I hate seeing him being stressed out so i usually just leave him be. When he see's me put him food bowl back in his cage he walks right over to my hand where the food bowl is without any stress or any problems. Just when i try to pick him up is when he has problems
i thought that was a good idea to, a lot of people tell me not to handle him as a baby. He also gets black dots really really bad when i try handling him, im scared something is gonna happen to him
If you just got him/her then him/her will probably not eat for 2-3 days because he or she is just getting use to his new enviroment and is probably stressed out but eventaully he/she will start eatting hopefully :)
I have a 3 month old veiled and he wont let me touch him or pick him up. Hes fine when i take out and put in his feeding cup but if i put my hand close to him or beneath him trying to get him to crawl on me, his skin turns dark green with black dots everywhere. Now i dont want to even try...
