Ah, I see... I was only thinking of the now, and figured I'd remodel his house as needed as I find he needs more support. Currently, he is sufficiently supported by his ficus which has sturdy wire branches in every conceivable direction (because I can position them so), and where they don't...

    Troubleshooting sudden cage climbing behavior

I'm surprised to hear this. Did you see picture number 3? I really can't imagine having (or him needing) any more branches. it's literally FULL. if I put any more up top he will be to close to his heat source. Which area seems lightly branched to you?

I can only assume he is drinking since he still lives, but no one has seen him drink or eat. He is hand misted and gets a water bowl next to his gecko diet. And the gecko diet has moisture of course. Are they particularly slow growers? My chameleon has grown so fast, but then he's a voracious...

    Troubleshooting sudden cage climbing behavior

Hi all. I'm concerned about Norman's sudden interest in climbing about his cage sides and top. He's been in my care since August and has never been seen to do that except rare instances when he couldn't find branches to where he wanted to go, but that is not a problem any longer in his...

Its stink bug season here in the north.

I figured having a happy solution to my stink bug problem would be too good to be true So I fed him a hornworm and sufficed with giving the stink eye to the stink bugs..

...and I have to say, the annoying little pests are infesting my window screens, and often finding entry into the house. Seems to me they are just begging to become chameleon food. Anyone think of any reason why not?
