This reminds me of what happened to Nosy Faly locale. They have been mixed with other locales in the wild. People released other locales in the Faly area and it is very hard to know if a female is a faly or a cross. A real shame. One of my favourite ones.

Bioactive is the best way to go in my opinion. Nothig wrong with that if done properly. Also the custodians will keep the plants happy and the viv clean.

Too young to tell as other people said. Also I would recommend a tube linear UV light instead of coil bulbs. They are more efficient. Just saying because I can see a dual dome on the cage and I wanted to help. Just my 2c. Good luck with him. :)
