    Hydration

That humidity is a bit low. Got any live plants? Pictures of your setup and cham will help! I rigged up an awesome dripper system using a 1 gallon pump spray bottle and some 1/4" tubing. It drips for hours. I will have a video up friday to show it.

Haha! Sorry! Basically, I bought a one gallon pump sprayer (the garden type that builds up pressure), removed the handle and nozzle, adapted it to take 1/4" tubing, ran the tubing into a brass needle valve (for fine drip control), made an adapter to connect another length of 1/4" tubing, ran...

I'm not having any humidity issues at all. It's always between 70-90% in there, with plenty of ventilation and excellent drainage due to the screen bottom and drainage tray from DragonStrand. The cham and the plants are LOVING it. It's all good in the hood over here.

I have been trying to upload a video but youtube is not working for me. However, new development... I have prototyped possibly the coolest auto dripper system EVER. It has completely replaced my "little dripper" unit. It does not use electricity, gravity feed, OR siphon action, is 100%...

Yes Ma'am, Smaug. As in, Smaug the terrible, the giant, the indescribable, from the wonderful world of JRR. Tolkien.

    Dragon Strand Large Atrium Enclosure

I have a full Viv rocking with a large clearside atrium. You definitely want the drip tray also. The PVC bottom is inadequate. The finished enclosure is on page 3 (this is my thread)...

Go away dad, I'm trying to sleep. I don't care if you just got back from your trip.

CHAM-ELOT!! I LOVE IT!! That is officially the name of the enclosure now! My apologies for lack of updates, I rented a vacation home six hours away and went snowboarding for four days. Update: FANTASTIC NEWS!!! Little man has really really started to bloom in his new enclosure and setup...

Two things: 1. Little boy is being super sweet today. He crawled up in my hand willingly to eat some crickets. Then he tried to reach this cricket on the ceiling but couldn't, so I stuck the backup mister rod in there (I was watering plants) and he climbed right up it, ate the cricket, then...

    Nosy Be Panther

Nosy be boys are super blue! They range in shade but are usually pretty bright powder blue. Google it! There are some pretty boys on google!

My Sambava has some pretty interesting pajamas. He has several pairs. His newest ones are buttercup yellow and soft pink/orange. Here's his butt a few days ago.

    Mistaking water

Fred Meyer is also a Kroger affiliate and usually has those machines. I've also seen them outside CVS, Rite-Aid, Safeway, Albertson's, and pretty much any large chain grocer.

    Mistaking water

I am not sure if all Walmarts have them. My Walmart is a super center, and the machine is in the back of the grocery section by the Alcohol and water bottles. Keep an eye out for other machines though if Wally World doesn't have one. There are usually a couple of those machines around most...

    Nosy Be Panther

At the moment he is sitting on his "bed branch" and sleeping. He's a bright white colour, which I understand is normal for young chameleons when they sleep at night (UK here). Almost like a ghost, hehe. Although earlier this evening he did come towards the front of the viv when I was sat there...

    Mistaking water

Holy crap my friend. That's way too expensive. Check around town, if Walmart doesn't have one, those water fill machines are usually able to be found and most are reverse osmosis at least. The most expensive RO machine I have seen in town here is $0.40 per gallon.

    Mistaking water

Me also. I take a five gallon jug to Walmart and fill it for $1.80. The water machine is reverse osmosis, has secondary sediment filters, removes chlorine, and then uses UV light. Good stuff. No risk of contaminates or clogging nozzles with mineral deposits.

Thanks, Yeah it is HUGE. I'll take a pic for you tomorrow. The entire thing is more than 7 feet tall. The foam was pretty easy to use and comes off the clear side material pretty cleanly if you let it cure first, however, it does stick to the screen a bit, but if you were careful, I think you...
