Do not keep anything on the bottom of the enclosure. You're cham should not spend anytime down there. Can you post a picture of your enclosure so we can help you out a bit better?
I was just reading up on gut loading with greens. I Only use d3 once a month. Plus I live in Florida and by next month I will have a double out door enclosure for both my chams (getting a second ne the end of Feb)
Yes the carpet makes it hard to keep clean. When you have live plants the dripper will drip into the dirt and will assist in keeping the humidity up. Get your plants from a local nursery it's cheaper than Lowe's or Home Depot
Couple things. Lose the carpet on. The bottom. Add more live plants like pothos, umbrella plants, and/or hibiscus... Also ditch the water bowl on the floor
