Yes flying prey items are great enrichment for them. I also get the same aggressive feeding response with wild prey I catch, like grasshoppers and cicadas.
It looks like OP has a panther... So floating garden with a clean cage floor and drainage outside the cage would be appropriate. Yes I agree bioactive is a great option for hatchlings and smaller species when executed properly.
Ya it's fine just make sure plenty of shade and plenty of mist. They thrive in Florida. I would increase your misting duration. I usually mist every 4 hours for 10 minutes outdoors. You might want to look into a patio Mister so you can hook it up directly to a hose and a hose timer.
95 ambient is usually my cut off outdoors... 95 in shade is well over 110 in the sun. If you have to keep outside in that heat you need to mist frequently. What is your location?
I took sturdy branches about 2 inch diameter and drilled a hole through the branch at one end. Then I loop a zip tie over the cage frame, through the screen, and then through the hole in the branch... Diy dragon ledges. That's how I do my indoor cage too.
I will let other give a more detailed review... However there are some red flags with your setup. The water dish needs to be removed ASAP. That is a breeding ground for bacteria. Also I am not seeing the correct T5 linear UVB lighting. What is your drainage solution?
