    It's black cage not plant. I have 1 black and rest white cages. Same amount of light with all. White cages take less light for plants then black cages. White reflects the light black absorbs light.

    I would of went with the pvc lattice instead off wood. Wood lattice has lots of rough edges and the staples they use to put together rust.

    Perlite easy to get out it floats. Just put dirt in bucket add water stir then net it out.

    Can use sticks from out side is your best bet. Just don't use any evergreen sticks like pine so don't use trees that have sap
