Don’t ever feed your feeders non organic!

Yikes! I used cheap veggies to feed my Differentialis. I hung the food to avoid all the poop falling onto the food.

    Panther Chameleon Burn 😞

FYI- Thr Red lights can harm his eyes. Make sure you use neosporin without pain relief. It looks really bad. A general vet could probably treat the burn. General vets are reasonably priced for services.

    Grasshopper/locust uvb

I also use a linear uvb in a reptibreeze. I use plastic containers from the dollar store for the lay bin. After eggs are laid, I remove the egg container to a different reptibreeze and apply heat.

    Need advice!

I use a cool mist humidifer to lower temps and boost humidity. I have been running it 24/7 this summer. It sits in the room (not in the cage). It definitely helps drop the temp in that room below 68. The ambient temp in my house is 75.

    Zoomed Iguanarium

You are an awesome out of the box thinker. You are always finding different ways to meet the needs of your Chams. They are truly loved. Even more, I like how you always reach out to exper😍ienced keepers for advice.

    Zoomed Iguanarium

I like what you said about temperature. Temps, humidity, uvb are so important. Just when you have everything dialed in something changes. I recently installed a new uvb bulb. After 2 days, I noticed Bolt rubbing his eye and I would find him with the eye closed. I increased the misting...

Do you want to get another chameleon?

Yes! Should you is the question? First, I don't like reptiles, spiders, snakes, grasshoppers, worms, crickets or any of the feeders associated with Chameleons! There are a lot of accidental Cham keepers on the Fourm. Like me! Who have totally fallen in love with a couple of quirky...

I squeeze both ends of the horn, with my tongs, to ensure it doesn't bite. I've read that hornworns don't bite. But my opinion is anything with a mouth has the potential to bite!!!!!!

    Sperm plug

It's definitely not feces or urate. It is It's own separate thing. I found a video on CF. I got the following info from the internet: When not in use, the hemipenes invert into the base of the tail, creating pockets that can fill with plugs. These plugs are thought to be caused by a...

    Large Sperm plug/shed. Please explain!

This is probably a hemipeneal plug! I found this on the internet. When not in use, the hemipenes invert into the base of the tail, creating pockets that can fill with plugs. These plugs are thought to be caused by a buildup of glandular secretions, shed skin, and other debris. In rare...
