    Feeding everyday?

That is the guideline but each cham is different. I cut my panther girls down to every other day at one year and they (one more than the other) lost weight quickly so I fed every day for a few weeks then went to 5-6 days a week for a month or 2, now I am at every other day and they are holding...

    Screen cage

One big help is live pothos. The desperation helps a lot plus the souls holds humidity. This keeps my humidity up well enough without anything else. My house stays fairly humid on its own so that helps.

    Not eating

I second the BSF. They are great feeders and great for a picky eater. Flying insects are a natural food for chams.

    Feeding super worms

I used to have veildes 20 years ago. Do to lack of choice... Their diet was maybe 1/4 - 1/3 super worms and the rest were crickets. no UVB except when outside, no auto mister. I successfully bred them like this. Superworms are fine. 1/3 is too much but that was all we had for variety back then.

    Feeding super worms

You may need need smaller worms? If they are larges, they are too big for a 3 month old. Even smalls may make them nervous. I use dubias and black soldier flies for a large chunk of my feeders. In addition I use stick bugs, blue bottle flies, super worms, mantids, green banana roaches and I...

    panther feed

3rd size is probably the same as 1/3 sized. Meaning 1/3 of the way grown. With crickets, I believe that is the same as 3 weeks old. ERKleROSE meantioned stick insects. They are more of a pain than roaches but way cool. There are many sticks that are kept as pets in the UK that we have a...

    Poorly eating for months

In my experience, a cham that wants to come out of the cage, associates out of the cage with his favorite food. He may be looking for something. I have no problem handling a cham that wants to come out. If he was stressed, he wouldn't want to be on you.

    panther feed

For babies, fruit flies, very small super worms, dubia nymphs. I know a breeder who feeds babies (under 4 months) mostly bean beetles. Apparently they are very nutritious but I have not seen research on this... It worked for that breeder.

ALL the baby chams have mbd

In the case I was referring to, it was a matter of trying to shove too many chams into too small of space. I forgot to meantion , they had a fountain (I know, better than no water though) that the male hung out at and the female did not go near it. The male looked pretty good.

    new cage setup!

I live in Maryland. I use pothos and mist 1x a day and it stays humid enough (I forget what % off hand) for my panthers. My house does tend to be more humid than most I think. Not sure why... Corrugated plastic would look better than a shower curtain. you can get it at a sign printer. For...

ALL the baby chams have mbd

If you buy the chams, you are only encouraging them to get more. I am friends with a local shop owner (used to work there). It is big for a local shop. There are 3+ employees working at any one time. Anyway, the owner is not the care taker. I went in there one time and they had 4 young...

good. Even limited time in the real sun seems to have wonderful affects for a cham.

    Garden gate/fake plants

I'm a big fan of real plants... particularly pothos. They help a lot with humidity. If you are talking about fake plants with real ones, then go for it.

HELP, my 4month veiled cham ate ladybugs

it is possible that they are not toxic to reptiles but are to mammals. Umbrella tree is toxic to dogs and cats but veildes eat it like lettuce.

HELP, my 4month veiled cham ate ladybugs

Until someone with better knowledge chimes in.... I would assume that when people keep their chams outside, they occasionally eat ladybugs. I used to keep my veildes and jackon outside all summer long in home made 1/4" screen. They had to of eaten a few here and there. I wouldn't...

Best way to keep multiple feeders for 1 cham

Most of my feeders are on an 8' shelves with heat tape. Dubias and Orange heads are easy. You can keep a lot in a 10 gallon tank.. though I have a few tanks. I sort my nymphs with dish pans with holes in the bottom of different sizes. when I sort them, the smallest go into a small container...
