It is tedious getting them out of their cocoon but if you open one end and gently pintch the other you can usually get them to come right out. Also I used to keep them on top of my snake cage to give them a little extra warmth and that helps them grow as well. All my lights and heat were inside...
I have always loved reptiles hate spiders but love all the things scaly lol although when I first got my leopard gecko I'm not gonna lie I was scared of the roaches and super worms lol now the roaches can crawl all over me and I don't care, supers only bother me when they wiggle in a pinch grip...

Omgsh I'm so glad I read this thread I would have never known this could happen. I thought these were easy for them to eat because they were so squishy. I mean I wouldn't feed huge ones to my baby but I may have fed them after he was a large adult not realizing.
