I bought the Calcium Plus LoD for my Jackson's and am not really sure about how much I need to use it. What is your dusting schedule? Do you use any other supplements with it?
My Jackson's chameleon's temperature is only getting to about 70 degrees at night. I know that they need to get to the low 60s. Any ideas about how to cool him down? I already put an ice pack on the top of his cage and crack a window he is near.
In the rules above it says that the photo contest rules apply for the video contest, too. The photo contest rules say that no text is allowed. Does that mean we can't have a title screen at the beginning of a video?
They really do look like tiny dinos, even more so than a Jackson's. Yet somehow, a chicken is more closely related to a Tyrannosaurus Rex than any lizard.
I know that it's illegal to import snails to the US. The helix aspersa are classified as pests, so you do need the permit for them. Not sure about other snails...
I'm thinking about getting a colony of helix aspersa snails for my Jackson's chameleon. Apparently jacksonii go crazy over them. You need a PPQ 526 permit to transfer the snails across state lines. How would I get one of those? Is there anyone on the forums who has gotten one?
I don't handle a lot of blood and guts very well. A little is fine, but a lot...:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:
I do like the part about the alligators hunting the coyotes free range, just not the watching them get eaten part. I went to a summer camp once where I could choose four of about...
As much as I hate coyotes, I don't think I could stomach watching them get eaten by gators. I do think that the coyotes should be put into the moat live, to keep the alli. A lazy alligator that has forgotten how to hunt is just as much of a bad defense as a malnourished gator. However, just as...
That's a brilliant idea! After all, most prisoners wouldn't make it past the other defenses to the moat. And we can't have malnourished alligators, now can we?
