Hahaha thanks @kinyonga! I just have two babies right now. The clutch was three eggs. But I accidentally rotated one of the eggs halfway through incubation and lost the egg. It was a rookie mistake. I didn't press the into the vermiculite. So they were all just sitting on right on top. It was a...
Thank you! Yes, my goal is to help establish these little guys in captivity. But it will probably be another year or two before I have enough to sell to the public.
Hi everyone, it's been a while since I last logged into the forums. I've been pretty busy with work, but my passion for chameleons is still going strong. Here are some pictures of one of my Cb 2-month-old Horned Pygmy Chameleons (Brookesia superciliaris). Incubation was rather quick at around...
Is it just me or is the pronunciation for "Brookesia" different between the two videos and link? Is the "s" a classic "ssss" sound or more of a "shhh" sound? Personally, I've always made the "shhh" sound.
I saw the title and feared for the worst. I'm glad @kinyonga is only facing technological issues. At 1,000 years of age, you never know...;)
While I'm pretty much absent on the forums these days, I can always afford to log on and heckle Lynda 😅
Bittersweet. I'm glad you were/are able to part with them on your own terms this time. I'm sorry for your life circumstances. But just know that there is a community here that cares for you. You are not a nobody.
Even though you won't have chameleons anymore, don't be a stranger. I'm barely on...
I see that @javadi sneakily entered into this contest without me knowing...not that I have any pics that can compete with his F. campani. But I would have started my smear campaign against him weeks ago.
This man-child artificially incubates eggs so they hatch out robust and healthy...who does...
What cage do you have? I did some quick recon and saw that you may be getting a new cage but that your current one is glass and screen mesh. If you are using a glass cage with a screen top, then you might not need a basking light depending on lights used, or if you do have a basking light, a...
Hardly on here these days, but I have a 4+ year old jackson's chameleon and we've gone through a lot together. Had to give him some medications subcutaneously by syringe. He would sprint every time I got close to him when he thought I was going to give him his medication. Plus there's the...
Bubble is bursted haha. I stared at my hand for a good 10 minutes making sure I wasn't mistaken. I guess I was just too quick to assume that you and your chameleon had it out for me. Yep, let's just chalk it up to weird fingers and hands haha
And that hatchling male is absolutely adorable! I...
^^^^^
Also, were his eyes sunken in? Is that why you added the dripper? How do his urates look?
Is he showing stress colors/patterns or is he uniformly dark? I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of this and get Eustis back to his old happy self!
