Looking good, for sure. once those schflera grow in it will be even better for him.
Not a husbandry suggestion, but a question: How do you plan on dealing with his feeders? Are you letting them free range in the cage, hand feeding, or do you plan on putting in a feeder?
I have some that I use...
I actually believe that it's managed in the US at the State DNR level. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I saw a list of invasive and banned species on my states DNR website.
I would love to find some documentation on this. I have a large aquatic community that I am part of that would appreciate the info.
I will look into it myself, but if you have any links I would surely appreciate it.
I had planned to try to get some wc snails going to breed and discard the adults, but I have lately been having a crazy idea:
I have fed aquatic snails to our blue tongue skink with great results. I am wondering how the chams might take to them?
Disclaimer: I KNOW that they would never eat...
Since they are a crop pest, all information is geared towards trapping and/or killing them. I honestly don't see why we couldn't breed them in captivity, provided we don't ever release any. I will have to look into the local DNR regulations though to be sure it's not illegal.
Pretty much just...
I am in love with the uetzi as well. Just stunning.
And the dorsal spikes on Furcifer antimena make me want to give them a try some day.
Archaius tigris is endangered, or it would be on my list.
My wife also has an ultra-sensitive nose. What worked out for me, was letting her get a reptile of her own that was different from mine and completely hers to care for.
For us, that was a wonderful male Blue Tongue Skink. He lives in a 75g tank below one row of my cham cages and has a 3' x 6'...
Just some Endler's livebearers, a red bristlenose plecostimus, and a couple of cory cats. Hard to keep the water clean with all of the dead crickets and frog poo, to be honest.
Those small filters, like the ReptoFilter pictured earlier in the thread always clogged up on me and were a total...
I have a colony of red eyes as well. Love them and their calls in the evening. I did a full aquarium bottom for mine with large rocks and a bark background above the water.
I won't do any pics at the moment, because I am way overdue for a spring clean out for their setup! LOL
