Needing to buy an ambilobe or ambanja

Have you checked the "For Sale" forum on here? https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/ybbb-ambilobe-ipardalis.174240/ If I didn't mind the wife divorcing me, I would be all over a good ybbb, for sure.

    Surprise insect found

I tried sticks for a while. Took FOREVER for them to hatch out for me. I wasn't willing to devote the space for the numbers I thought I would need to get a viable feeding group going. But hey, that's just me.

I have figured out a name!

I would love to see some movie character themed names. Blade Runner, anyone? Decker, Priss, Batty, Tyrell? I guess I mean OTHER movie character names. LOL

Do I open the egg container and add water to the corner of the containers?

As I said, it's what works for me. I don't advise anyone to do what I do.

    Paludariums- Tree Frogs

Josh's frogs seems to be good. I know that people seem to hate Undergroundreptiles.com on here, but they seem to have interesting frogs from time to time listed. I have never bought from them, so I can't say.

Do I open the egg container and add water to the corner of the containers?

Too much humidity is NOT your friend. I spray lightly all over the surface of the box, eggs included, about once every 2 weeks. But that is what works for me, with my house humidity level and such. Each setup is going to have different parameters. I use plastic shoe boxes with "Press and Seal"...

This is the way I like it to happen!

I have become a believer, at least with my clutches. Never going back.

    Dull Colors?!

Honestly, I think that is way too much food for an adult panther. I would cut him back to half that number, every 2-3 days, depending on the size crickets you are giving, of course. With regards to the calcium powder, is that calcium without D3 or with?

Spikes just arrived in the mail today, question about storing them and letting them pupate into BBFs

I am thinking, for my breeding setup attempt, that fish meal would be even a better spike food base, but I am not sure how easy that will be for me to source. Especially given the current lock down mentality.

Spikes just arrived in the mail today, question about storing them and letting them pupate into BBFs

I am looking into using cat food as a spike feed. Just have to make sure to find an all natural one, and nothing to harm the end user (the chams).

No worries. I wasn't jumping your case, just making sure we weren't spreading false info.

For your questions about the fridge and keeping them, watch this vid. For breeding I found interesting ideas on this vid.

Spikes just arrived in the mail today, question about storing them and letting them pupate into BBFs

I am getting 1000 spikes from them in a couple of days, with the intention of breeding them, so I have been researching this for a bit now. Let me see if I can find you a good link to explain it all. Easier than me typing it out, but I promise not to leave you hanging if I can't find a good...

Is my chameleon ok he’s been dark colors lately

So, from this we must assume that some do? Oh crap! Don't you dare tell my Chams. I know they will start demanding their own phones, start texting while climbing, and whenever I tell them to be more careful they will shout at me with some variation of: "Stop trying to control me!".

I Feel Bad For This Hornworm....

Man, my chams go koo koo for cocoa puffs on soldier fly adults. They can't get enough of them and I have never seen them fail to snag them when available. BSF's are so slow and relaxed that you can catch them by hand very easily. That, the fact that they don't have to be calcium dusted, and the...

    Chameleon Stress

Saying this and then making an argument that your EXPERIENCE is the right way to go? Uhm, is this actually someone pulling our leg? If not, then please try to realize that when you utilize the "dumb luck" method of success, and knowing that it's never safe or wise to rely on luck we must remove...

    Staple feeder in the wild?

Yes, I was tired when I read the OP, and missed that he did indeed say Veil. Sorry guys! I really shouldn't post in the wee hour, I know it but sometimes I do anyway.
