I was thinking of getting a nepenthes for the top corner of my cage. Even if it is mildly toxic, my cham won't have access to it. Does this repotting thread pertain to those as well? I had read that for nepenthes they are not supposed to be submerged. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

That link was for compacts, not linear. I am currently using a 10.0 but my enclosure is rather large.

I can definitely see where he is coming from. I've wanted a chameleon since I was probably 5. I finally now had the $300 or so to purchase the viv and cham. It is still a little unsettling when you go from dogs, who love you pretty much no matter what and show it, to a sweet looking reptile that...

100w mercury vapor powersun is what I was using until it messed up my chams eyes. Now I'm using reptisun 10.0 and a reg house bulb.

My fault. In the medical field whenever I think of sugar water I automatically jump to the thought of glucose or dextrose. Sucrose is harmless.

As it's true for humans it also might be true for chameleons but glucose is necrotic to cell tissue. Just a thought.
