Kritter Keeper Xl is a little less volume and more expensive than a 20 qt sterilite gasket box. And how would lighting work with that lid? You would need to cut the top and add screen for the sterilite though.
What about no top?
@cyberlocc what about bio bins like these:
Not sure why the FB post won't link. Here is the pic on IG. If you go to this post on his FB page, he has a lot of other information and feedback on this method in the comments.
Help me understand how putting two 10% or 12% bulbs in a fixture with individual reflectors would get safe UVI levels over a larger area of the cage. Wouldn't that result in an appropriate UVI level lower down in the cage and an inappropriate level in upper portions of the cage that the...
Bill’s link is a thorough explanation. You can find plenty of videos on YouTube on covering it with silicone and substrate or painting it with drylok to make it look more natural.
Y'all should just link people on reddit to the Chameleon Academy. If an owner seeking help cares enough that they delve into all of Bill's info, they will get their questions answered there and/or find this place in the process.

I know Wisteria is considered "toxic" to dogs, cats, and horses. I have access to wild wisteria vines and I am wondering if anyone on here has used vines stripped of foliage in a chameleon enclosure without issue. I have searched the forums, and there have been some old posts of people using the...
You have the dual agrobrite, one bulb is uvb and the other is a plant bulb? I'm planning on getting the quad agrobrite so I'll have three plant bulbs. Just trying to plan out if this will be enough light. I'm thinking it will.
Bill - do you use perlite in your potting mixtures in cages without issue? There are several plants I plan to use in a new setup that would benefit from perlite added into the soil. For some reason, I was concerned about compaction from perlite, but not from the other soil ingredients. Cham will...
Relax man, everything's going to be alright...
OP may not know the DS will be offering vivarium configurations. Not sure what I left out of the "full story". Lol you say my pros aren't really pros and then you agreed some of my pros are pros... I actually didn't identify any characteristic I...
@chammythechammy Dragon Strand is releasing some cages in a vivarium configuration if that is interesting to you. Different sizing, less weight, less heat retention, a little more ventilation, drainage and misting solutions included on some models when compared to a glass cage.
