Great job in saving him. With a little TLC he will thrive. I second the vet trip since a long time with improper care could have issues we can't always see.
I did notice a bump on his Veil (might be lighting shadow). (y)
Just making a comment-
I have never heard of a chameleon being healthy with a diet mentioned above. I am actually baffled at the vet not removing the tongue, so feeding and assisting with hydration can be done. JMHO (just my humble opinion) with the tongue still in its mouth like that I would...

I agree with Thatcher-- Plus, it would be cheaper.

There is way more to the story just from experience.
If I only ate 3 meal worms for morning and lunch-- Everything is game for food:unsure:. Just being silly.
We are here to help no matter what. :) (y)
Plus, I have seen chameleons shoot at the poop if there is a roach, isopod...
Welcome and WOW! at the same time
I am not a vet.
1st- I would take him to a vet asap. (since I don't know your experience- I apologize if you are very experienced) Just trying to help. :) (y)
2nd- are you sure that is his tongue and not a piece of bark (substrate) he tried to eat and a thin...
I would start with 1 and hope it is a female or purchase a female if possible. I personally like the males since they croak so much, but it would annoy others. It would not hurt getting 2 and they both turn out to be males but it will get noisy. Make sure they are captive bred as some pet-shops...
18X18X24 exo-terra (y)
I have for both the White's Tree Frogs and the Yellow Spotted Climbing Toads.
The Toads would do better in a bigger habitat, which might happen soon. Female in her crevise near the top of exo.
Thanks for the photos. Looks like it is getting better from the pics. Might even go away after a shed or two. Keep up the good work but also keep an EYE on it. (y)
Hope you don't mind I rearranged your pics. Healthy chameleons are the best, but I find problems and diagnosis so fasinating. (y)
Last 2 pics are the same.
Actually, looks much better than a few days ago. JMO
Can you share a current picture of the leg? It is so important that it does not turn into an infection. Bacteria and fungal issues heal quick with the right meds.
Sometimes we can see healing better since we do look at it all time.
Great video!
Sorry for your loss but use it as a learning experience and process.
The forum and people here are to help with any questions you may have.
Personally, I would go back to the place you purchased from and share your experience and pain. I can be a pain but always want a fair deal.
If...
Do you have pictures of your baby before he fell? JMHO The back looks more like a birth defect and not a fall injury.
What state are you from, so members can advise on a good vet.
Also, is he eating?
JMHO- Your baby looks great and acting normal.
Here is a link that you may have already found but explains it way better than I.

Note: I originally posted in wrong thread (here) and updated other thread. I thought this one was deleted but it was not, just did not have pics.
Crazy Monday
Beautiful! If you put them together, she should get dark and rock if preg. If not, then he will probably start bobbing his head and go for the gusto. (y)
Sometimes they will stay green and just get along until mating happens.
What a beautiful chameleon.
Do you have the male with the female and how long have you had them?
Pics of the male would be awesome too. (y)
JMO If she is with the male, she is definitely not showing gravid colors. That would be dark brown to black and rocking - letting the male know. STAY AWAY...
