    I'm THAT person....

We've all been there. My first Cham was petco veiled male. Thought I knew enough before buying him. Little did I know I knew nothing. Luckily I found this forum the next day and have never liked back. I know the pet stores say don't believe the internet but that's like Trump saying Hillary...

    New Herp Alert!!!

45 gallons or 36x18x18 is considered bare minimum for an adult Beardie.

    New Herp Alert!!!

I was thinking no trans at all. If he does have it it's recessive. Obviously has the Leatherback and Hypo genes (clear nails and pastel body) but his eyes are amber (not solid black like in most Trans) and no trans showing on belly or beard. He is just starting a shed though. Also he's shoeing...

    Screen climbing

Both my males screen climbed even with a full enclosure in a 2x2x4. My Ambanja used to climb upside down underneath the lights even until he was about 9 months old. Temps and UVI were both fine so it wasn't ans if it was an environmental thing it was him just being a small baby. Both have...

    New Herp Alert!!!

Just bought him a 36x18x18 Exoterra. He now has his adult enclosure and a T5HO with a 10.0 for the moment. Will most likely be getting him a 12% Arcadia once his bulb is due in 6 months.

    Screen climbing

I'm sure Brody will chime in in a few but I'd recommend Pothos and umbrella plants.

    New Herp Alert!!!

Please help me in welcoming my wife's Christmas present. Another male in the house. This time a Hypo Translucent Leatherback Bearded Dragon by the name of "George". I'm not huge on the name but it's her Beardie so.... I'm totally going to call him Cheeto though.

    Possible edema?

Definitely stop using both Calcium Plus LoD and Vitamin A Plus at the same time. Both contain Retinol Vitamin A which is preformed Vitamin A. I would just cut out the vitamin a plus and only use the LoD for every feeding.

    Sheflerra lighting help

I use 2-45w YU MEIL LED spotlights for both a queen marble Pothos and my Shefflera/umbrella. My umbrella has been flourishing under this. I have seen 1" of growth and no dead leaves in 2 weeks.

Unfamiliar with this way of sexing panthers. But come to think of it.....

    Targeting issue...still

@Kaizen only thing I can think of is, if you haven't already, is adding retinol vit A into the diet via supplements. I know everyone freaks out because we don't know how much they need, we don't know how much is too much, and it's a fat soluble. I can tell you from my experience in keeping my...

Why is my Cham grabbing his face?

Good question. @Brodybreaux25 who are the panther chameleon gurus on the Canadian side I always forget.

Why is my Cham grabbing his face?

100% female. IMHO I would get my money back from the breeder and purchase from one of our many reputable breeders here on our forum. Not only did the seller sell you a female as a male but he also gave you one with MBD. Clearly the breeder has no idea what they're doing.

    Is my lighting sufficient?

You definitely want a T5HO fixture from either Lightyourreptiles.com, Arcadia, or ZooMed that spans the entire length or width or diagonally across the top of your enclosure. As stated on your other post it's important to have the correct fixture as well as bulb. Not all fixtures are created...

    lights

Problem with that is the ballast inside your Walmart fixture is not made for UVB bulbs. You're probably burning out the phosphorus in the bulbs way faster than intended this making your bulbs less effective in the long run.

    Plant lighting + other questions.

YU MEIL 45W LED off Amazon $40 a piece is what I use. I use to use a dripper before I got an auto mister. Will never use a dripper again after that https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/the-new-arcadia-jungle-dawn-led-bars-whose-gotem.172151/
