    Frank's Thread

Your tanks are part science, part art! Very impressive setups and they really look great as part of your overall decor. Well done, you have a talent (and obvious work ethic)!

    Jackson's Horn Development

Interesting discussion topic. I am sure that poor nutrition can affect the uniformity of the horns, but I am also sure that crooked horns do not necessarily equate to poor nutrition. I bought my previous Jackson Reggie from a petstore that kept him in lousy conditions. His horns were quite...

Has anyone used an Exo Terra Monsoon Rainfall Misting System before?

The only thing you need to decide is MistKing or AquaZamp. That Mistking starter set is what I would recommend.

    You can call him Sammy

I got mine online, but I lucked out, the company didn't request a permit. I think a company called snails in the mail or something like that have them available and I hear the permitting process is very simple.

    You can call him Sammy

Thank you! I think his tail is adorable too :) He was bitten by one of his siblings when he was just a wee chameleon. I thought he may grow out of it, but it has only become more pronounced (and adorable).

    5.0 or 10.0?

I would feel safe in saying that it has been proven over time that Reptisun T8 bulbs last about 6 months and Arcadia T5HO bulbs last a year. This has been tested by many cham keepers on this forum who have Solarmeters, including myself. That being said, I don't think the Reptisun T5HO...

    5.0 or 10.0?

I switched to 10.0 T5HO UVB bulbs and simultaneously reduced the amount of D3 supplementation. My thinking is that 10.0 should provide sufficient UVB to convert to D3 and the chameleon can regulate the amount of UVB easily by moving in and out of the light (I keep the basking area separate from...

    You can call him Sammy

Its been a long time, and I have been derelict in my Sammy update duties. I am happy to say Sammy is happy and healthy and has turned into one hell of a hunter. He is a little on the small side and has maintained the kink in his tail, but I wouldn't change a thing! He is coming up on his...
