    Gnats

you might have fruit flies...I do..they like the mist and water that collects in the cage..the fundamental solution is to clean the cage (and your house) as much as possible. but bandaid solutions--what i do--is putting cups of vinegar and soap in the places where they congregate. they jump in...

Hi everyone, 2 questions: 1) I want to start a dubia colony to feed my 3 male panthers. Anyone have a suggestion on how many and of what size? I was thinking 300 mixed, with a few extra large females and males, so 310 or so. Okay? 2) What should I feed them once I get them? The websites...

    Drains and glass tanks?

yes that is. although a few thoughts on drilling glass since i do it all the time for aquariums..correct about tempered glass--it cannot be drilled. usually only the bottom pane is tempered so all the sides can be drilled. check first, though. second, diamond tipped drill bits are not easy...

    Need advice on my setup

you will need to upgrade to a bigger cage when he's an adult, minimum of 2x2x4. also, you should invest in a mistking system, they are great and relieve you of having to mist 5 times per day. as others said, more vines, no substrate. good luck!
