    baby veiled chameleon

She should almost double in size every two weeks. You need to go on a scavanger hunt for more sticks for her to climb on. Bamboo, rubber tree sticks, etc wirk welk. Soak them in a water with 5% bleach to kill any bacteria or fungus before putting in cage. You can use zip ties to create a...

    Chameleon Walking On Floor

My panther laid her first clutch behind the bin on the floor over a three day period. Whatever she does, leave her be because any stress at this point could cause her to become egg bound. Covering the cage for privacy is important. Also if you have a potted plant set it in front of the laybin...

    Necropsies..show causes of death...

Necropsy is an autopsy. Necrosis is cell/tissue injury resulting in death of the cell/tissue. When I first took on a cham rescue, i read a classified asking for chams that had passed so a necropsy could be done for a study. after realizing how fragile chams can be, I have tried to find that...

Well the vines that came with one set up were rubber around a metal cord which i tossed. I have never had an issue with them And as far a bacteria, i usualy wipe everything down once a month with chlarhexidine used by vets as a pet safe bacteria/fungus cleaner. Just set up his new enclosure - can yall check it out please?

Welcome! Your cham is investigating his new digs and may have odd behavior while checking it out. My male commonly goes to the bottom while patroling the cage trying to find a female. The brown worm cup is too light. I make the bottom rough with sand paper then glue it to a heavy disc shaped...

    Well, we have a problem

Nachito looks great! The eye looks ok to me she maybe a bit dehydrTed from the molt but nothing to worry about. Her jaw looks real good. Remember chams heal real slow when it comes to tissue. When there is a tissue infection the body sends everything its got not to fight it, but to capture it...

Actually 0.1cc contains 3mg of cipro. Dosage for a cham should be about 12mg of cipro. The dose i told you was 6mg 3x day because i dont know his weight which should help keep him alive while you wait for your vet appt. I was raised poor and love animals of all kinds. I have also worked for...
