His crest is pretty big and patterns/colors are pretty solid and develeoped by no means am I an exert but my guess is 7-8 months maybe a bit older, I have a younger female so this is total educated guess
Ive been a cham owner and member here for roughly a week, and have gotten a bunch of help. You dont go walking into the kings house and take a **** on his rug and THAN tell him how to clean it up...basically thats what you are doing here. Thank you, please, positive rep on ppl who have helped...
I would take the pet stores advice and assesment with a grain of salt. Yes some people who work at them are knowledgable...but not like a vet. Get that baby to one:(
Chameleon and cheap dont go together. Look online at some of the sponsers and consider buying little plastic cage to keep them and buy them in hundreds if not thousands. Also hornworms are great my cham loves those things, dubia roaches, super worms, silk worms...a bunch of options.
My veiled turns dark when shes basking (darker colors absorb heat better as we all know) there was another post that said its pretty common to see them darken while basking (forgot where post is) what supplements are you giving and how often of each.
Idk what setup youre building or if these will work but they are tiny and come in 90-360° spray radius'...google or search amazon for hydroponic misters or clone misters. They screw in and give off a really good fine mist.
Thanks, ill post better more detailed pics tomorrow (this mistking better hurry!) I wish I was that content sleeping. She had so many places to hide now, I could have gotten by w the small cage but I love having live plants she seems to also, plus now I have a spare cage for a new baby!!!:D
