I thought she was younger for some reason. I still doubt shes gravid imo. Some signs are shed go to bottom of cage and pace (shes looking for spot to dig) generaly spends more time on ground. A bin wont hurt but dont stress too much if you place a bin in and she doesnt lay, she very well may not...
Also use the finest mist possible, my cham hates the water bottle because droplets are too big. Once I bought the mistking she runs to it and loves it, its a super super fine mist. Investing in a decent auto mister will help a ton, one bu not stressing her if she doesnt like the bottle and it...
At her age I highly doubt she is carrying eggs...shes defensive and hisses because chams arent a "handle me" pet. She also is getting used to her new home, if you keep reaching arm in its just going to take longer for her to settle in. Give her a minimum of a week to get used to enclosure...
Looks necrotic (dying tissue) id make visit to vet. Deff not a hydration issue. Bery well could be injured before you owned it, caught between something, fell any other trauma, etc. make vet appt asap
Tone doesnt come across well via text. I realy had no clue about hemipenap bulge. I have a veiled and nonless than nothing of panthers. Only way I knew of was tarsal spur.
What are you talkimg about a bump from tail to before his vent!? Idk what you mean. Those pics of rear feet showing a spur on back feet (male) and none (female)
Countless people told you this would happen. Given your age and all of course your parents hold the keys, literally. Hopefully when it does need a vet app (it will) they are willing to pay or see the reasoning you pay a few hundred bucks. Sorry to say I told you so...
Veileds will rarely if ever drink in front of people. As long as his urates are nice and white hes hydrated. Mist w warm water, if its too hot to spray on the inside of your wrist its too hot for the cham. Best investment I made was a mistking, again im using a screened enclosure so water doesnt...
What is on the floor of cage for substrate? Anything other than bare, paper towel or maybe a reptile mat is a no go. They can ingest it and that can be a problem. May have nothing to do with this, just curious.
Maybe off topic but could help, that reptibreeze looks sparse, could be cham feels vulnerable and has not enough cover. Heres my XL for my female veiled, by no means do you have to go batshit like me, it had a fern 3 magnetic rock ledges/planters a pothos two live trees a fake branch and 3...
Shedding or not, its discernable whats from shedding and whats an actual lack of care or health problem...avoidance and excuses. Ive given up all hope on you helping us help you.
DITCH THAT FLOOR SUBSTRATE. Use reptile mat (indoor outdoor carpet) nothing, or paper towels. The cham can ingest it while hunting for food or just nosing about and it can cause a fatal impaction. Deff loose the flooring.
Also they love hornworms, they are nice and juicy and easy to keep. They grow fast though, so if you buy a bunch get smallest size possible. I bought 25 and I have some that went from 1"-1 1/2" to 3" in weeks...way too big to feed now, so just watch when you order and how many so youre not...
All seems perfect but the temps...also screen verse glass is highly debated, when you do upgrade her cage i suggest the XL repribreeze thats what my female veiled is in now, she loves it. Its 2'x2'x4'. 62° atnight is fine they can handle 40's they need a good drop of temps at night, so you are...
