    Do you know the temperature at her basking zone she could be just thermo-regulating if getting too hot. If you can hear popping or wheezing it may be an respiratory infection which would need a veterinarian. She looks to be showing gravid colouration too, i presume you got a lay-bin in place?

    I have no experience of veileds personally but think they go dark sometimes black with beautiful blue & yellow spots. Maybe only black when warning a males advances off. But the blue & yellow markings for gravidity, as previously said she might be receptive 😁

    The article states they can see infra red maybe shorter waves opposed too the longerwaves a CHE produces. It also says that CHE doesn't produce IR, which it does🤷 Why it matters is if you Google "glassblowers cataract" might be more relevant to another thread recently on eye issues
