    Buying a female Panther

Are you in the U.S.? That seems really high to me for a female, is she wild caught or captive bred? Who's the breeder?

    Misting and Home

I don't own a misting system, I mist with a spray bottle and haven't had issues. My veiled chams I've had for quite a few years and I've never had a problem with manual hand misting yet. And yes you should get a screen enclosure, the sooner the better.

Got my first chameleon! Meet Carl.

Female can show blues, reds turqoise colors, especially when young. Here is my juvenile female as an example.

Got my first chameleon! Meet Carl.

I see a lump/bulge on the top of the tail, which looks irregular to me, but I still do not see a hemipenal bulge on the bottom side near the vent. I still stick to my original assessment of your panther being female.

Got my first chameleon! Meet Carl.

I probably should have explained what I was looking for better. I need more of a side profile shot, but from everything I have seen I do not see a hemipenal bulge. Here is a picture of my juvenile male, you can see a bulge in the base of the tail right after the vent.

Got my first chameleon! Meet Carl.

"He" looks more like a she to me. Some better pictures of the tail behind the vent area would help determine if I'm right or wrong.

    Concerned for Veiled Cham

What type of uvb light are you using? It appears his casque has been burned in the past or is currently being burned, I am not an expert on health issues though. His eyes also look sunken to me which would indicate dehydration.

Sexing my 2 month old Panther chameleon?

    Definitely looks female to me.

    I believe I have a little female?

I think I might see a spur on the rear foot, which would indicate male. Pictures of the backsides of the rear feet would be helpful.
