    Wild caught chameleons usually come in rough shape and have parasites. They cost a lot more in vet bills than buying a healthy captive hatched animal.

    Chameleons Canada is mostly wild caught animals. They are in good shape but not recommended for people without wild caught experience.

    If temperatures are a problem for you I highly recommend getting a good space heater that can regulate the rooms temperature. Wood will rot with how much water chameleons need.

    Unless you can find a glass terrarium that's at least 4 ft high and can be extra diligent with monitoring temperature and humidity I would suggest sticking with screen for veileds. The nose rubbing does stop once they feel they have enough space and branches. If your current terrarium is small...

    Veileds grow best under linear t5 10.0 reptisun or 12% Arcadia uvb. Slow growth can be from insuficent uvb or food.

    Personally I go for any black earth or top soil and sift out any sticks and junk. Just make sure it has no added chemicals.
