how often do you feed the worms? I would cut out the mealworms.
What's your basking temp? SOMETIMES when it is NOT warm enough, they will perch there all day.
For my veil, I've been dusting calcium without d3 6 days out of the week. On Sunday, I dust with multi-vitamins.
I rotate between crickets and dubia as staple. Every other day, I'll add one hornworms, superworms, or black fly larvae.
Do you guys mount the heat pad on the inside or outside of the rubbermaid and on the sides or bottom?
I currently have the small fluker at the bottom with a piece of glass and it heats up the tub to 71 during the day and down to 60ish at night. I know i need to bring that temp up.
Just read on another thread that the difference between the zoomed 5.0 and 10.0 is the distance the UVB reach. So if you have a low enclosure for your BD, 5.0 should be enough.
To get the full benefits of the misting system you'll need to mist for longer periods of time. I believe bill strand recommends at least 5 mins.
When youre misting it is for hydration and also hygiene .
