It could be an escaped/ released pet however I have heard of several Veiled populations spanning from San Diego to San Luis area so it be from one of those. I know they're known to tolerate temps into the 30s in Yemen.
Yeah they were Furcifer verrucosus, didn't look too good, I did find a couple Kinyongia boehmei that looked decent & a few hoehnelli. Picked up a pair I couldn't resist and a nice looking pregnant Jack jack of the few decent looking ones from the Wholesale Flippers. Lots of senegalensis too.
Just left. Very busy and lots of stuff. Not too much in chameleons but a few good Panther Breeders. Hamburg PA & White Plains NY are the 2 big ones in the metro area.
Its a male Kinyongia boehmei. They are farm raised in Kenya but should be treated as WC as you mentioned. Id search the forums, I know there a care guide somewhere in here, but similar care to a Jacksons. High humidity and lower temps
Whats the purpose of the smaller Tupperware underneath the bin? Drainage collecting? I love the concept, probably build something similar when I'm expecting hoehnelli babies.
I've had great interactions with them, however I had similar experience. Out of the dozens or so times I ordered from them, 2 maybe I had an issue. One was due to a death in on of workers families & the other was due to a hurricane. They are located somewhere in New England wich I know recently...

In the bottom right hand corner there's information on supplements. Also, not to sidetrack, anyone know where you can buy earth pro a?
Will you get enough ventilation? Granted different species require different levels of ventilation, ie: Why Brookesia can live in an aquarium buy Pardalis cannot. But you figure there much more air movement way up in the trees then down on the leaf litter. And less air movement in more humid...
Hello,
Nice looking male, he's a Yellow Crested Jacksons Chameleon (Trioceros jacksonii xantholophus). Jacksons like most montane chameleons prefer it cooler. Usually low 80s, 70s daytime & 60s/ 50s at night. A good resource is the chameleon academy. They have a xan care guide Xantholophus Car...
I like the aluminum ring idea. I use them for my day geckos & anoles. I've tried them with hoehnelli but at least right now, they don't produce enough heat the raise the ambient temp to around 65/ 68F. Have to try once it warms up
