hi! so my cham is almost a year old (in september) and she hasn’t had her first clutch yet but i think she might be gravid? i’m not sure. she has been really aggressive towards everyone and usually she only hisses at my mom lol. right above her back legs it looks lumpy. could that be eggs? yes-...
yeah i regularly check to make sure she has all her nails she has a clean vent and nose/eyes and is overall healthy i just haven’t ever seen that. i’ll leave it alone and watch to see if it gets worse or better
no i haven’t looked into that- i only started thinking about this a few days ago and just wanted to ask a few questions. trust me- i do my research:) she will be a year very soon so will probably getting ready to produce a clutch soon too:)
hi! i’m looking into breeding veiled chameleons. still searching for a male and i have a long way to go, but i had some questions about incubation.
- what is a good incubator to use?
- how long do you leave them in the incubator? until? they hatch? how often do you check on the eggs in the...
guys i’m so annoyed i went to get a horn worm for cammy at petland and saw this poor 1-2 year old male veiled cham. i feel awful. he’s missing ab 2 nails it’s sad. the set up it so bad. the cage is tiny there’s barely any plants and the ones they do have are fake, they have a styrofoam vine, a...
cammy i also got from petco- it sucks that they just don’t care. i do have to say most people don’t they just want money, thankfully the petco i got cammy from has some very nice workers. they have been very helpful especially when i first got her. it really does suck that they blow stuff off
ok so the first thing is for food i would not feed worms daily. hornworms and wax worms as a treat- no meal worms. super worms occasionally. if she goes in the laying bin and is digging i’d cover her cage. during this time don’t feed her or handle her, give her complete privacy. if you have an...
also if you could fill this out it would be helpful too:)

a few questions-
-what is her age
-do you have a laying bin
-has she showed colors that go along with being gravid such as mostly black with bright colors like blue or yellow?
-what and how much do you feed her and how often
she did it a few times we were only out for ab 15 mins bc she got hot but i’m not sure maybe she had something in her eye it just scared me bc i had never seen it before and i know how fragile they are and stuff
she did it a few times and i’ve never seen her do that before she would like blink but sink her eye back then it would go back to normal it kinda looked like she was rolling her eyes lol
🚨i would just like to add- a few minutes after i posted this she started to open her mouth and show signs of overheating, so i brought her inside. if you take your cham outside and they start showing signs of overheating- opening their mouth, going down low to run from the heat and stay in the...
i absolutely love bringing her outside. i live in FL so it’s nice and warm for her. i love seeing her stick her head up and be out in the sun to bask it’s so cute.❤️
