i have been trying to figure out a simple misting set-up. at first i wanted to get a pro mist and just set up an auto top off fro the reservoir but i just got an idea. im not sure if it will work but it might. could i just get a hose bib timer and then a reducer from the garden hose to 1/4"...
will those float valves be able to shut off 60 psi? i do not want to use the ro/di filter. i want to fill my reservoir straight out of the house plumbing. thanks

the solenoid switch is normally closed so would i need a float switch that is normally open so that when it floats up it will shut off the solenoid

my dripper is not dripping on it. i have the dripper on a fake plant. the schfflera is about 5" from the basking light. i would like to try a ficus but am afraid of the sap hurting my cham.

i just got a dripper and am setting up a drain tomorrow and was wondering where is the best spot to put the dripper? on the side where the basking light is or on the opposite side? does it even matter. thanks.

yes i also have a 100 watt zoomed basking light on one end and a 50 watt basking light on the other end. the 100watt is about 100* under it and the 50 watt i use to just warm the cage up a little. without the 50 watt the cage is around 73* ambient. with the 50 watt it is closer to 80*...
