    Angry chameleon

That’s fine. I just don’t get why everyone is so interested in his setup. I’ve gotten so much advice on it already, but to assume I don’t have the proper lighting for his cage?? I’ve already shown pictures of the lighting I use in his cage and have been told by other people on this server that...

    Angry chameleon

I have a veiled chameleon who I just brought home almost 2 weeks ago now. He’s a really angry little guy which I’m fine with, if he doesn’t want to come out of his cage I don’t care, but what do you guys do when you HAVE to get them out? I always think about the future and there’s going to be a...

    Stuck shed

Right now his humidity is at 30% and it’s 2 in the afternoon. He hasn’t been misted in a few hours, but usually it’s around 40-50%. I wonder if it just was too high because I’ve decreased how often I sprayed him and now the stuck shed is gone. I used to spray him when he woke up and 3 or 4 times...

    Stuck shed

This is the bulb I use for his UVB, and I am going to start him on crickets tomorrow. I will be feeding the crickets mainly vegetables that are high in vitamins, and safe for chameleons. I’m going to buy a heat lamp, and not a heat emitter as well.

    Stuck shed

I am so sorry I couldn’t get a picture of the stuck shed. He just isn’t friendly enough for me to get that close and it’s hard for me to get a picture through the screen. It is looking better though, less shed around The Eye. Attached is a picture of his setup, and the UVB I use. I have already...

    Stuck shed

My chameleon has some stuck shed around one of his eyes. I feel really bad because he can’t seem to shake it. I was just fixing something in his cage and he was using his foot to try to scratch it away (at least I think that’s what he was doing, he’s my first chameleon so I’m not exactly sure) I...

No experience, but why would you want a monkey? I feel bad for the ones in captivity

    Your chameleons name and why

    Crickets

Thanks to everyone who replied! That feeder is amazing, especially because I was also going to ask how you guys feed when you go on vacation. I think I will stick to crickets and add dubias in at times (my parents would rather crickets than roaches) but I think the best idea is to put them in...

    Crickets

I agree and I don’t think I would do it, I’m just trying to find a solution to having jumpy crickets

    Crickets

Hi! I recently got a male veiled chameleon from a reptile store near me. He’s probably about 5 months old, (they didn’t tell me at the store) and at the moment I am feeding him calcium dusted gutloaded super worms. I know he should be eating crickets or dubia roaches as a main staple. Before I...
