    Sloppy eating Superworms....

my veiled often gets superworms only to quickly take a bite of one side and the breaks off and falls to bottom of enclosure. Will they eventually realize what happens and get the rest(dead). Should I put in food cup and hope he eats rest from there?

Here's a small tip to aside with hand feeding. While holding the feeder in your fingertips make sure it's between your line of eyesight and the chameleon.

Zeus ate 53 small crickets during one feeding, is this normal?

Remember this The smaller the feeder(compared to same feeder) the less amount of nutrients it gives by weight Larger = less exoskeleton/gr. My chameleon is about six months old and eats a couple of mature dubia(refrain from lecture) and then a few smaller and worm type feeder

    Raising Superworms...basics?

How long do they live? How long do they live at max size? How long until the reach maturity?(pupate) General lifecycle? I'm thinking of adding these too my feeders being farm. Mind you for one chameleon. It will be in addition to dubias and silkworms. Additional are not a huge concern.... Chickens.
