    Schefflera Arboricola Health

I agree that this is not an arboricola - the leaves are much too large and long. It's certainly a close relation. Panthers can and do eat leaves from time to time so choosing safe plants is the best idea. I find that my younger ones eat more foliage than adults. Branches and leaves.

Agreed, they are. :) I have a pair of Nosy Boraha coming from them later this month. My third purchase from them over the past few years. They have beautiful animals and a true passion for the hobby.

Happy hatch day. I am familiar with the breeder you purchased from and he is definitely an Ambilobe - no question there. He's looking fantastic!

For anyone who notices, that's sand in her mouth as she had JUST finished laying and was being showered down outside. :)

    Stella after laying

Stella was captive bred here at Red River Valley Exotics 2.5 years ago. A product of my first red bar breeder, she was paired with my current red bar breeder and babies are expected in the summer of 2018. These will be the same bloodlines I had hatch this summer, in which Norman was produced!

    Breeding

I use the same container set up as kinyonga. For incubating, I place the container in my basement in a box (so it's dark) over the summer as I don't have A/C and temps can easily get to 90F on the main floor. Temps range from 75-83F down there. Once the temps cool outside, I move them...

Genetics and Prices on a good ambilobe and

If you want colourful, you cannot go wrong with Ambilobe. I've never seen a 'dud' - the only ones that look washed out are ill or haven't been cared for properly (UVB lighting mostly). If you are getting a young one and do your research, you will not be disappointed. My profile pic is a red...
