    Next fun insect to raise??

@AZChamFan that calendar is BEAUTIFUL. I was like meh, whatever, I'll check it out. I am shocked. I really like photography and that is just amazing. Jacks Jill aren't your snails going to be too crunchy? That's pretty cool. Do they smell bad? I just remember having a pet snail (aquatic) as a...

    Do most Panthers enjoy misting?

What Jacksjill says fits with what I see. At first he splits, then he comes and just hangs around in the mist, and eventually cruises off. It took him a while to get used to the mister too.

    Next fun insect to raise??

I'll remember that for the next go 'round. This was my first batch. I was just pretty excited to see if he would eat them. It's gonna be egg ordering for me for a while until I get things established. But to be honest I'm having almost as much fun with the bugs as I am the Cham. :-) I read a...

    Veiled or Panther Cham?

Ultimately I chose a panther because they are liklier to be friendlier, but there are no guarantees either way. They are more expensive. I would get a boy so you don't have the added stress of egg laying to deal with in the beginning. But I've never had a veiled and I bet they are awesome too!

    Next fun insect to raise??

@Remkon i kept them in there because my house gets pretty cold, and I was hoping I could have them grow a little faster and feed them off a little sooner. I can be impatient and I like to tinker around with stuff, much to my dismay. I was kicking myself for that one for sure. I know it was...

    Next fun insect to raise??

Oh no Joe not at all. It is my understanding that they only lay in rotting flesh which just isn't my thing. Actually it sounds dreadful. I'm pretty pleased to pay someone else to deal with that! But you can buy the spikes, keep them in your fridge, and they hatch in about three days. They are...

    Next fun insect to raise??

I really have a soft spot for mantises. I'm not sure I could feed them. I really like them. :-) But I'm researching stick bugs right now. There are so many, I want to pick something easy I can be successful with and I'm concerned about finding food in the winter...

    Next fun insect to raise??

Dubia are obvious, and I will raise them if my guy decides whether he likes them. :-) Crickets I will NOT raise, because they are just too noisy and they smell bad and they are so cheap and readily available. But the blue bottle flies have been a blast. I will always have those. I think I'll...

New to this. Someone please help

Call the vet and make an appointment first - mine was more affordable than I thought he would be. Get a laying bin in there second, if you don't have one already. Is there any white in her poop? You left temperature blank? If you read the care sheets all the info you need is there, you just...

    Opinions, help(?), and advice

I can't tell you much but I soooo feel your pain on this one. I'm totally paranoid about everything. I keep thinking it will get better but it doesn't. FWIW, my guy dangles a leg every now and again. I researched it a little and I think it's pretty normal. I'm guessing if your black scales...
