This is not my place to interfere but that in no way is what we feel is right for our chameleons. Just lighting and vitamins is like saying humans just need a roof and some food, which we all know we need much more attention to thrive. You might offend some people here , if you feel this way...
I have some growing at the bottom of my big umbrella plants hopefully they’ll grow like weeds and I can intertwine them into and around everything I can do it’ll add a lot of cover
Looks good I’d just put paper towels in there. If it’s really necessary then it’s fine. Just try your best not to bump around too much and if you can put the lights one that’s a plus but remember that will get pretty hot in there
I’d really wouldn’t do that because it will be much too stressful for the cham. But I’d do everything you said and have towels or cloth at the bottom just in case you hit a bump to keep him safe if you must do this. Make sure you have plenty of ventilation.
Wish they weren’t illegal in Florida, I’d take some off of you I have 3 chameleons and two spiders to feed hahah I have a small discoid colony. Trying to get them breeding
I have a Mist King and its great! I use it for multiple cages and it always works just perfect. Ive never had a Climist and I think only one website I know that still sells them. It makes little to no noise also if that matters lol
As far as i know roaches have more "meat" than crickets so appropriately sized roaches they should take down 6. My big veiled takes down around that much and a hornworm after and hes content anymore i offer he wont eat them. Hope that helps. I use Discoids though and i think they are a bit...
Thank you. He seems to be doing well and is in his shed this week. After reading all of the stories here i bought my other two from breeders and one baby from Janets gracilior lineage.
