I have a tiny scale i think it only weighs so many grams though. How can I weigh her on it without her freaking out? She isn't the most handleable. She does have a laying bin as a permanent part of her enclosure, shes always had one :)
Unknown of age, she was very small when I got her in early October, got her from a Petco. She seems healthy, but does she look gravid? Why is she green everyone elses chameleon gets yellow when it is gravid. Please help.
Backyard dirt? Be careful... your really supposed to use organic soil only.. if she congests the dirt it could be really bad. This is why we put rocks over the dirt in the plants in our enclosures.
She gets patches of a different shade of green sometimes but never yellow like i see in pictures. She doesn't looks fatter or like shes carrying eggs.
sorry for so many threads just want to get this understood.
I do this, I just like to cup feed with my hands to get her used to me and my hands so I can take her out to clean and for vet visits. Also on occasion I like to handle her as she is pretty mellow and easy going.
She is a decent size, i'd say close to fully grown. She may gain weight but they are just superworms. They don't bite her she always gets them from the cup they don't free roam
Sorry for spamming the forum, but my chameleon always turns dark when she attacks the worm and eats it. Like she gets those little black dots when she eats it. Is that McNormal? I cup feed her from my hand
I'm no enthusiast my brother just got one as I pet and had no clue how to take care of it, so i had to do most of the research afterwards. Do the recessive colors go away after she lays eggs?
