Now that's my DREAM!! As what bobcochran said, vandas are a bit tougher because they require a lot of light, and they are heavy "feeders" (meaning, they like lots of fertilizer). The other orchids can be happily placed as long as you have good lighting for them. Phallies are pretty forgiving...
Oh my goodness I'm so sorry :( My heart just aches for the little guy.... Thank you for getting him and doing all that you could do to try to save him. </3
Oh my goodness I hope this little soul pulls through! This stuff absolutely breaks my heart.... I just don't understand how people can look at a animal like that and think that it's healthy!! Please keep us updated. Poor little guy. :( It might be better to transport him in a small box with tall...
@JGspecial Thank you so much, he's definitely showing some changes that leads me to believe it's in his eye, he has papilloma... Started showing signs on it a month after I brought him home. :(
I'm so happy and impressed that you did your research, AND had the cage set up and ready to go before the chameleon arrives! Bravo! Congrats on getting into this addictive hobby, and like everyone says, chameleons are like potato chips.... Can't have just one!
My suggestion like Carol...
Haha thanks! I'm super over whelmed... I'm sitting here re-writing my doctors style scribbled notes on compton scatter, photons, electrons, etc... I'd so much rather read that stuff than browse through the forums. I use fresh fruit, veggies and cricket crack as well for my guys...
I'll have to look into it possibly. I'm a F/T student, so my paychecks I get from work are pretty much spoken for months in advance. ;) But I'll have to add that to my "list". I just got my guys some new Arcadia bulbs, and there went my cute little paycheck. Ha! I do have a vitamin supplement...
If the window is closed, your cham isn't getting UVB since it does not go through glass. I let my guys hang out in the window all day long if they so desire. If I have a day where I can actually open the window, they can bask all day if they want to. There's really no such thing as over...
I'm not very familiar with Repashy products because I don't use them, though I hear wonderful things about them. I had to look up what superpig was, and don't see an issue as long as you aren't over supplementing. I'm actually a bit intrigued by the superpig and may look into it myself.

@birthnugget Ambilobe :) A friend found him at a reptile show I was at, but never saw him because he was in a snake box..... I went back and was waiting at the door for them to open to snatch him up! :)
Sometimes during the cooler months they seem to "slow down", even my garbage disposal of a eater cham is leaving some food in his cup on some days. Alexander1 seem to hit the other topics.
