I tried hand feeding, but the damn things are so hard and squirmy, UGH!!! so then I switched to tongs but I guess I didn't have a good grip on this one and it fell out of the tongs and I couldn't find it, well I know where it is now...... :P

managed to get little Ripley on my fingers today!!! not sure he was super happy about it but I rewarded him with three crickets after he was back in his cage (he wouldn't even look at them when he was on my fingers) so maybe he figured it wasn't so bad!! Starting to show some colors!!! So excited!
Definitely get the large cricket pen, like Beman I have two so I can rotate, I keep about 75-100 at a time, crickets are smelly so I clean everyday and rotate them to a clean pen with fresh fruit and veggies. It’s a lot of work but they stink less that way

I had a bioactive question as well, on the leaf litter, I have a HUGE magnolia tree at my house, can I just get the leaves off the ground instead of buying them for leaf litter? can the be green leaves or do they need to be the brown ones?
