Not that it makes any difference now, but I did want to clarify that I would be using the root hormone to root them in water, then once they are ready for soil, rinse the roots off and plant them in clean organic soil, so there would be no direct contact between my cham and the hormone. Just...

I also wanted to ask one last thing - is it safe to use rooting hormone on cuttings and then once they’re rooted to put them into the enclosure? Basically asking if this stuff will come out of the leaves and hurt the cham?

Are you near a lowes or Home Depot? Lowes usually has a clearance rack that you can get some good plants that are 50% off. Even aside from clearance they still have good inexpensive plants. That’s all great to know, and it’s even better that I can take that ugly heat lamp off of the top. I’ll continue to monitor it and her behavior to make sure she’s getting the right things. Thank you for the help 😁
