My drainage system for three trays to a two gallon bucket is gross. It is less than a year old and it smells like the worst aquarium you've ever seen.
Other than physically wiping algae out of the bucket and from the outside of the hoses where they get wet from being in the bucket, any...
Here's Gustov (you can call him Gus), I got him from ponders and he's eight months old:
It's difficult to get a picture showing his colors but he's got yellow and blue dots on top of his head now, and continues to change at an amazing rate. Great animal. Another shot:
Thanks to Ponders, I have a really pretty young Quad who has now lived more than half his life with me.
Here's Gus enjoying a Pink Wing Stick insect I got from Nick Barta:
A couple of more shots here:

My solution is to use only Repashy Calcium Plus LoD for all dustings. That way each feeding is just like another.
While the conventional wisdom is the every-day-plus-two-every-two-weeks routine, I found postings here of experienced cham keepers using the far more simple blended-dust solution...
Update at seven months. He's gotten a lot bigger. He looks great, this snapshot doesn't do him justice. He's camera shy. This is about 4 times actual size on most monitors. :-)

Are you sure your cage isn't 18x18x36? Mine is, a Reptibreeze "Large" (vs. the XL), and my answer to your very same question was a baby quad. I got mine from Ponders:

I was a bit intimidated by the idea of a montane...
Younger chameleons will be more docile than a sub-adult or adult.
>housing it with mine
Do you mean either in the same cage or in sight of each other? Bad idea.
Chameleons are very territorial and although you may not be able to read the lizard queues, one is dominating the other...
He's eaten a lot, had a big day, is in a strange place, and doesn't really know you. You probably look somewhat omnipresent to him. Maybe he's just upset a bit.
Congrats!
I run multiple mist heads, so when system runs, everything gets wet pretty quick.
For one misting each day, I run longer not to get things more wet, but to give more time to stimulate the lizards brain to do some drinking. That's the idea anyhow, it is not like I've spent a lot of time watching...
It sounds like you are at a point where you should consult a vet.
I found this page:

There you can read:
So physical manipulation is one treatment, but without expertise you could easily cause more harm than good.

For me, distance is a criteria. I try to buy from the same coast (west) that I'm on. I've done well with crickets from Rainbow Mealworms in California. I make use of geographic search with Google Maps or eBay when I'm looking around for suppliers.
With two veiled chameleons in any enclosure, one is winning and the other is in submission, even if you can't tell. The stressed one will eventually die from not getting enough food, access to basking location, and just plain stress. You are going to have to separate them, or one of them will...
