only reason i know the spots mean he's mad is cause he does it when someone is reaching for him. i have a few friends who get excited and want to hold him. im like sure stick your hand in there go right ahead when he turns black and bites the crap out of you it's not my problem lol. he just...
when you dust the crickets do it in a container that has a lid. don't dust inside the cham's cage..also if they are causing dust explosions when he shoots for them, then youre overdusting. they shouldnt look like little white ghosts after a dusting. careful overdusting can cause calcium...
oh lawd. enough has been repeated theres no need for me to say it again.. that being said, i talk to my cham out of habit. like he's a cat. but he could care less. he gets pissed off when we run the washer because of its immense shaking i imagine it causes tons of annoying vibrations.. good...
he might be a little angry that he is so close to the bottom of the enclosure.. they are arboreal so they like being high up. mine would flip **** if i didn't provide foliage near the top because thats where he always hangs out. I would be worried that he is not close enough to the UVB or heat...
He is shedding looks like. My cham gets extra irritated and stays dark when he is shedding. It seems like as soon as he finished a shed a new one immediately starts and he doesn't change colors unless he is excited or sleeping so to me it all sounds pretty normal?
I use the same dome. i also use zoomed reptisun basking bulbs and the first 2 pack i purchased were bad. the first bulb blew after 2 weeks and the second one was damaged on arrival, the filament was only half attached. I switched to Fluker's for a few weeks and it didnt happen, so i swapped...
if you own a veiled. YES. huge no no. i got mine from wal mart. though if you own a different type of cham it may not be a problem but i don't think it would be worth taking the risk. If it was in the seed there is no way to wash the plant of it. sucky
yep looks good to me. take my word for it they are clumsy. my veiled was free ranging the house one day and decided to go from the end table to the light (its the tall pole light you would stick in a corner) he had absolutely no grip and slid face down about 3 feet until he hit the metal foot of...
i think he likes it too. lots of hiding places now. i have so much fake foliage now that i dont know what to do with since i put that monster in there lol
besides repotting you can use a 50/50 white vinegar and water spray. put it in your tub and spray the crap out of it. let it drip dry and stick it right in. if you have more time to prepare the plants before you have to put them in, i would do an extra rinse with 50/50 dish detergent and water...

I dont know any in NY but there are plenty of others who are great. i got my guy from lllreptile but only because i couldnt get ahold of the owner of flchams at the time. does it have to be from NY?
Some people may have seen my posts in the past about my ficus dying. I ended up not being able to save it. I can't tell if the roots are alive not sure how to check.
Anyway I finally got the money to buy something that i think is even better. I posted it up yesterday to show it off but pics...
