Picked up my first Cham today! He has been officially named Leon. He loves his plants, as evidenced by already eating a hibiscus leaf. He's also eaten 3 crickets and drank water off the leaves. He is still finishing shedding at the current moment.
So he is home and his name is officially Leon! Adjusting well and seems to enjoy his plants. He's already taken 3 bites out of a hibiscus leaf, drank water off of the leaves, and ate 3 crickets. I'll post pix as soon as he decides to not be shy :)
Thank you! I will definitely add some more as I go, but I figured this would at least be a good start and a definite upgrade from the fake plants he currently has.
Alright I will keep an eye on that! In respect to the basking bulb, plant light, and UVB, where should I put the mister and fogger? I am adding a rough sketch to give you an idea where everything is placed on top
Ok, so plants are in. The braces will be added to the left at right side even with the top of the hibiscus (about 8 inches away from bottom of basking light) and the other set be on either side of the top of the corn plant. I have 2 fake vines that I will be adding to both braces.
I replied on the other thread and yes, the cage is ready. Cage has been sealing since Monday. I will add the brace bars and 1 side of the screen I was short on today.
Ok, I will add that and order the fixture and bulb ASAP. Urethane and sealing was done on Monday. I will add the screen and braces tonight. I also will add the last side of the screen today. Other than that, it's just adding the plants and what not.
Ok, thank you! I will probably pick him up tomorrow. Does the light set up I have look ok? The fixtures I got are a little short, but I have the Arcadia T5 HO 6% UVB bulb and the fixture to go with it. It is 24 inches. The other is a ceramic dimming bulb with a 75 watt basking light. The rest...
Calcium everyday without d3, reptivite 2x a month, T5 arcadia bulb for uvb when not outside, fogger at night, misting several times a day for 30 second intervals plus dripper
