Well I wasn't totally sure whether deandra was gonna lay anytime soon. She's eating and drinking but her demeanor was a little off. But luckily for me I have a Male so I held him up to the cage and she colored all up. So she will be laying soon.
I personally don’t think you Cham is gravid. But I could be wrong. I’m in no way an expert. But you said her poop was runny, her color is off, she’s dehydrated and not eating. First thing I would do is check for parasites. Specially since she hasn’t been checked.
My little Artemis became a woman today. Laid 33 eggs. Shes a bit tired but doing great. I still think it's a bit early for her to lay. Wasn' over fed and kept her basking temps at the low 80s. Just goes to show you. Have need those lay bins ready.
She is gorgeous. All my guys have to get out this weekend. We’ve got tropical storms rolling through all next week. Haven’t seen any eagles here but I’ve seen plenty of big old crows
Hey everyone, I was in chicago for a month for work and when I got back my baby girls had their big girl colors. Heres Artemis and deandra freaked out by the camera as usual.
It is hot here. I just moved from Chicago to Lumberton tx . I’m right outside Beaumont. The humidity here is crazy. I’m still trying to get use to but the Chams love it
I learned about 4 yrs ago by accident that those banded crickets survive way better. Had two tote bins with all screened sides. Had ordered crickets and had quite a bit die. So I went to the reptile house and got banded crickets and threw them in my other tote and hardly any died. I really never...
I love all my guys btw I used one of my guys as a home made fly trap. Fly kept bothering me the moment I brought out my guy little foot there was no fly to be found.
Deandra’s sister Artemis out with me this morning. Still working on the outside enclosure so until then they just have to settle hanging with me while I drink my coffee
