    Feeding chameleon glucerna

My chameleon was on a hunger strike for about 6 months and the vet had me force feeding him glucerna. He has slowly started to eat love food again ( ). Has anyone else every been told to force feed glucerna to their chameleon? It seemed to keep up his weight and energy, making him look all...

    Possible eye infection

My chameleon Axel just finished a body molt minus his head. He usually starts molting on his face a week or two after a full body shed. His eye seems to be bugging him for the past two days I was wondering if this could be normal behavior due to the fact that his eyes might start shedding soon...

    Force Feeding My Deremensis

I only dust every other weekish when he actually eats. He doesn't seem to bask very much but lately he has been laying down all day. His eyes are open but his head down on a branch? He doesn't seem to be very interested in activity unless I let him play in the grass/sun.

    Force Feeding My Deremensis

I think he is about two years old but I am not sure. When I got him about 9 months ago they were unable to tell me his age. His lips have not turned redish at all, I have been wondering if that always happens to them or just sometimes? I can post the most recent picture of him right now, he has...

    Force Feeding My Deremensis

Hii, My deremensis has been on a hunger strike since Feb. 5th, I took him to the vet last week where they force fed him in hopes of jump starting his appetite. He has always been a great eater/drinker until recently. Nothing has changed in his habitat and I have tried spicing up his diet but it...

    Trioceros Deremensis

Hii I was wondering if anyone on here has a Tricoeros Deremensis. I have a male about 2 years old. He's currently going through a strange phase and I wanted some advice. I'd love to talk to someone else who has one of the same! Thanks for your time

My cham is on a hunger strike :(

He was out of his cage for about 4 hours I doubt he could have eaten anything while while he was walking around, my floor is pretty spotless. Also I live in a studio so the room temps are about the same throughout the house as his habitat 60-70s I live in sunny san diego. Humidity usually 50-60...

My cham is on a hunger strike :(

I had just taken him to the vet a week before this had started, and didn't end up liking that particular guy. I am trying to get him in this week with a new place, currently doing my research. I cannot get a fresh sample so i'd like them to take one, do you happen to know how they do that?

My cham is on a hunger strike :(

Hi My chameleon Axel (trioceros deremensis) is currently on a hunger strike. I have tried all sorts of different exciting foods, and he seems to be completely uninterested. He escaped his habitat and found his way into my closet Feb 5th, and that was the last time I saw him actually eat. I...

Questions about water fountain in enclosure

Cute photo! I am looking into purchasing an auto mister for my little dude this week. Thanks for the reply! I do love misting myself because I get to spend time with him. He's currently my only pet so I find myself putting in a lot of time and love into his care routines. He's become a total...

Questions about water fountain in enclosure

I do have a fogger already, and I mist short periods of time myself multiple times a day. I was hoping to use a waterfall to provide drinking water, but I am scared of bacteria developing. Most of all I am looking for an appealing way to provide drinking water throughout the day. Hes not fond of...

Questions about water fountain in enclosure

Frequent cleaning wouldn't be a problem, but everyday might be a little much. I'd be using it for functional purposes (mostly) but I do design and DIY a lot so aesthetically pleasing is a possibility. Functional first though.

Questions about water fountain in enclosure

I have not used an auto mister before, are there any specific ones you recommend? I usually just mist him myself several times a day, making sure everything drys in between. I work from home so I don't mind the frequent mists.
