Hi all,
Over the last few weeks, I've been setting up a new 4'x2'x2' reptibreeze for Zeus. What a pain changing a live, bioactive vivarium has been. I've been preparing for weeks by making a custom planted background along with a substrate tray, drainage system and Oak stand. Today, I am finally...
I didn't mean for the thread to get this heated this quickly, sorry all. I'll just conclude on what I will change and then we can forget about this thread. Overall, the temperature will not change as according to the research I did before purchase, his 86F basking spot is fine, and the 64F is...
I think I'll keep his temperature as is at the moment as he seems to be OK with it and it has always been like this since I got him. I mean this with no offence to the information you've given me, and I am grateful for your help.
I'm not entirely sure who to believe now, I've always kept his basking spot at 86 and he's not had a problem with it, I see him with his mouth open sometimes which I know can mean they're too hot.
I don't put him in his tree if the cats are there, I know that might freak him out a bit, even if he doesn't mind them when he's in his vivarium. And considering the height, I currently have nothing to raise it with, I did half heartedly look at a unit to go under his vivarium, but never bought...
Thank you, he did reject his food at one point, but that was after he moved here, so I think that might have been why. Since then, he's eaten well. It's good to hear that he looks good to others, so thanks again.
There's some ventilation behind the bark at the back, there's a small gap between the two pieces with ventilation in it. Also, it's a cat bowl, we've got 4, he doesn't hide from them and just ignores them to be honest, so I assume he's OK with them. Happy to be proven wrong though.
He does have a 5ft indoor tree to climb that he goes on whenever he's out, do you think he might just be associating coming out with exploring his favourite tree?
Hi all,
I'm not entirely sure what is wrong with my boy lately, so any help is appreciated.

Thanks, am I right in saying that super worms and morio worms are the same thing? I live in the UK and I can't seem to find super worms anywhere here, but I can get morios, and they look similar.
