I got it at the dollar store in the spring. It's made for gardens. You can find it at home depot as well for an inflated price - I find it to be the same quality.
It deter's my boys from climbing on the screen, which is it's main purpose :) They climb it instead.
I don't have the best picture of it, but what I do is I get this lattice stuff and put it on 3 sides of the cages. I secure it at the top around the support beams with sturdy wire and then a couple places through the cage, I stick the lattice in more firmly with a couple thumb tacks like people...
I was in a general reptile group that had a lady who insisted her cham loved to sleep wrapped up in a blanket and held like a baby all day... I "noped" out of there real fast.
I'm very sorry for your loss :( The fact that there was another dead chameleon in the cage when you purchased him is very troubling, please do not go back to that seller.

A huge money saver is also to hatch out your own silk worms :) I've saved hundreds of dollars doing so. And It's not to hard either, especially if you are a youngster with time on your hands. It can be fun :).
There are others. I used her as an example because I could remember the name. I am lucky to have a personal "bug dealer", but do a little google-fu before you say that you simply cant get feeders in Canada. 5 minutes and you'll find some.

Give him a nice long shower for hydration and a nice big juicy horned worm to help him pass it :)
It happened to my big veiled once. I had paper towel lining the bottom of the enclosure and he gradded a feeder with his tongue from the ground - his sticky tongue grabbed it with the feeder and I...
