Thanks guys. He is very sweet very friendly can't keep him in his cage. Likes being out and about.

I do both. That way I know he ate something. Mine also is extremely friendly towards my husband and I. Doesn't want to stay in cage. I was hand feeding him worms. Now sometimes he won't eat worm from my hand and will walk onto my hand.

I ordered larva from someone and the dirt just moved and I couldn't find the larva.

My vet suggested some kind of bird food. But I can't remember which one.

That is so cool

I cup feed mine holding the cup. And I hand fed him. Now every time I open the cage he tries to get out. Right into my hand.
